In Rememberence

I woke up with your memory, freshly pressed from a dream. You were looking right at me, talking to me. I wish we had embraced, I wish I could remember what that feels like. I miss you Mom. It’s hard to believe that our lives were forever changed one year ago today, when Jesus took you home. Always in my heart, always in my mind. I love you Mom.

  1. Sorry you lost your Mom. You will always miss her, but over time, the loss will hurt less. My mom died in ’94. I still miss her, and occasionally I still cry a little, but I believe she’s with Jesus. It helps to hope I’ll see her again. Praying for you.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your own experience with the loss of your mom. People say it gets easier but really, there is no way to fill that void with anything but Jesus
